The kitchen island is form free. It is lit by LEDs by night as a mysterious light fitting. The unit can be dismantled (1 hour) to move to other end of the room. The island unit is made from 3mm and 6mm white polypropylene. This material is flexible, weld-able, repairable and recyclable. The island unit houses sink, waste disposer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven, recycling facilities. Two kitchen stools hang at the far end. The unit also accommodates specially designed trays (drinks palettes), kitchen waste bin, plastic bag storage and a water jug.
